Brigadier Van Orden CBE

Brigadier Geoffrey Charles Van Orden is a former British Army officer who served as Leader of the Conservatives in the European Parliament from 2019 to 2020 and was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the East of England region from 1999 to 2020. He is Vice Chairman of the Special Committee on Terrorism.

Francesco Giubilei

Francesco Giubilei is the president of the leading Italian conservative foundation Fondazione Tatarella and of the cultural movement Nazione Futura, a writer for the newspaper Il Giornale and a contract professor at the University G. Fortunato of Benevento. He is a member of the Scientific Committee on the Future of Europe of the Italian government. Giubilei is the author of The History of European Conservative Thought (Regnery, 2019).

Balázs Orbán

Balázs Orbán is the Chairman of the Board at Mathias Corvinus Collegium and Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary. He is also a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, an assistant lecturer at the National University of Public Service, and a visiting lecturer at the Budapest Metropolitan University. His latest book is The Hungarian Way of Strategy (MCC Press 2021).

Alvino-Mario Fantini

Alvino-Mario Fantini is Editor-in-Chief of The European Conservative.  His work has appeared in such publications as The American Spectator, Crisis, The New Criterion, Far Eastern Economic Review, Catholic World Report, The American Conservative, and The Wall Street Journal.   He serves on the board of the Center for European Renewal, and is a member of the Philadelphia Society, Mont Pelerin Society, and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Abigail Adams Institute and a Visiting Scholar at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal.

Yoram Hazony

Yoram Hazony is the Chairman of the Edmund Burke Foundation, and serves as the President of the Herzl Institute in Jerusalem. His book, The Virtue of Nationalism (Basic Books, 2018), won the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s Conservative Book of the Year Award in 2019. His next book is Conservatism: A Rediscovery (Regnery, 2022).

Anna Wellisz is the VP for External Affairs of the Edmund Burke Foundation. Previously, she was a Senior Director at the White House Writers Group.  She has taught literature, persuasive writing, and business communications at UC Berkeley, DeVry University, and the Keller Graduate School of Management. Her pieces appeared in GlaukopisAnnals Australasia, and the Wall Street Journal.

Christopher DeMuth

Christopher DeMuth is the Chairman of the National Conservatism Conference. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Hudson Institute and was President of the American Enterprise Institute from 1986-2008. He was a White House official in Ronald Reagan’s first term, directing the Presidential Task Force on Regulatory Relief.
